North Shore Inn at Lake Mead - Summer Boating on Lake Mead

Summer Boating on Lake Mead

May 15, 2017

Lake Mead elevation is around 1,088 feet.  Lake levels are projected to be 1,084-1,100 throughout the summer of 2017.  This is 10-25 feet higher compared to 2016.  Echo Bay ramps are open with excellent launching on solid concrete.  The lake temperature is in the low 70's degrees and expected to be in the lower 80's at the end of summer. Summer is an excellent time for boating as the Overton Arm of Lake Mead is not crowded and the temperature on the water is 10 or more degrees cooler than land. Just perfect for wakeboading or water skiing for certain. The summer fishing for Bass Striper has been excellent also this time of year. So don't be afraid of the desert heat this summer. Come out to the North Shore Inn at Lake Mead for some summer water fun and fishing at Lake Mead.
